THINGS ARE HEATING UP!

Did you see us on the news Fourth of July weekend!? Our reporter friend and his intern spent nearly 3 hours interviewing us and filming footage, all for that one minute blurb. I didn't realize just how much footage the evening new editors have to process in a day. Kudos to them!

WBOC wasn't the only one taking pictures. We snapped a few of the camera crew too.

How are things doing otherwise? Well, four more crabbers approached us last week in hopes of being suppliers. That means a steadier supply of crabs for you guys as sales increase. And sales are increasing, slowly. Last Friday we ran out of crabs five minutes after we opened, partly from a sudden customer rush and partly because there were not many crabs to buy on Thursday due to heavy rain.

This weekend is going to be dangerously hot, and stormy as well on Friday. Will we be there? I sure hope so! We will do our best to take the heat, but even I will have to take ac breaks tomorrow. So please be patient if one of us is missing for a few. Call ahead before you come just in case we get stormed out or collapse from the heat :). I foresee using lots of ice tomorrow, and not just to keep the crabs cool.
