COMPANY TRIP

When you work with family, family trips and company trips are one and the same. We joined the multitude of travelers on the roads this week to go witness the solar eclipse. A very long overnight and all morning ride that included a stop in D.C. to pick up a friend, brought us to a parking lot in Manning South Carolina with just enough time for a picnic before the main event. It was worth it to see that bright white spiked ring surround the moon's silhouette; such a pity my cellphone camera didn't do it justice.
This weekend promises to be almost as busy as our trip made the last one. Dad and I will be in Ocean Pines Saturday as usual. Then we will get up a 3 am on Sunday and drive to our new spot at the Olney Market. Hope they like crabs up there as much as we do down here! Also, we now have a Facebook page.
